Families considering RAF NEXT GEN Abu Dhabi have a registration decision to make before the professional show arrives. The organizer’s current page names November 6 as the entry deadline and limits international participation to nine places in each weight category. A category can therefore close before the general deadline.
Entry dates are different from competition dates
RAF lists November 7 as a weight-adjustment window and November 8 at noon as the final registration closure. Those later dates should not be treated as an assurance that an unregistered athlete can still enter. Check the selected category and organizer’s instructions before making commitments; this report does not establish how many places remain.
The posted participant fee is AED 150. RAF also says each wrestler may enter only one division. Families should resolve the division and weight selection through the official registration process rather than assume a second entry is permitted.
Plan for two competition locations
The youth schedule places November 14 preliminaries at NYU Abu Dhabi’s Performance Gym on Saadiyat Island, followed by November 15 finals at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The listed official weigh-in is November 13, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the NYU venue. That adds a separate reporting day to the two competition dates.
Keep the professional card separate
The wider RAF Abu Dhabi event is scheduled for November 14 at Etihad Arena. Its current professional card advertises Khamzat Chimaev against Colby Covington, alongside other senior matches. That listing provides context for the weekend; it is not the youth tournament’s reporting schedule.
Experience Abu Dhabi independently identifies the youth qualifiers at NYU on November 14 and finals at Etihad Arena on November 15. Its distinction between the venues is useful when building a family itinerary: an arena address alone does not identify where a young competitor should report first.
Before confirming travel, reopen RAF’s dedicated NEXT GEN page and follow its registration link. Keep participation instructions and professional-event ticket arrangements separate unless the organizer explicitly confirms that a particular package includes both. This guide does not claim a combined admission entitlement or an individual match time.
